B’nai B’rith to give Covenant Award to Richard Seiden

Nurit Sonnenschein to direct AJCC operations, development
ALBANY–After a months-long nationwide search, the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center (AJCC) has selected Nurit Sonnenschein of Saratoga Springs to serve as executive director. Sonnenschein began her duties July 5.

Noah’s Ark Fest to feature zoo, tips on the environment
SARATOGA SPRINGS–Saratoga Chabad will host a Noah’s Ark-themed family festival Sunday, July 25, from noon to 4 p.m., at 130 Circular St.
The festival will feature a petting zoo, pony rides, lessons on animal care and environmental responsibility, arts and crafts, music and a kosher luncheon.
Admission is free. Luncheon fee is $8, $36 maximum per family.
