CLIFTON PARK –The 10th annual Jewish Women’s Gala (JWC) of the Clifton Park Chabad will feature Rus Devorah (Darcy) Wallen as a presenter at a buffet brunch, Sunday, June 3. The 11 a.m. brunch entitled “Eat. Pray. Love.” is for women. It will be held at The Hyatt Place, 20 State Farm Pl., Malta.
Wallen earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio and a master’s degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York.
She conducts workshops and programs on various themes ranging from emotional well-being and marriage enhancement to Chasidic philosophy, perinatal issues, and music, as well as religious practice. She has recently embarked on developing Torah consonant holistic programs including producing relaxation and therapeutic recordings to calm restless minds.
Wallen and her husband Eliyohu reside in Amherst, N.Y.
A silent auction and singing by local singers will also be featured at the program, the first in 13-part 2018 Saratoga Jewish Cultural Festival.
