Mitzvah Day is the name: Tikkun olam is the goal!

Madison Laks, Hannah Kamenir; Rafi Mills, Helena Rosenstrauch, Chaz Siegfeld, Ariel Siegfeld and several others put together after-school snack bags for Trinity Alliance.

Five local congregations joined together for this year’s Albany Mitzvah Day on Sunday, April 7. Two hundred and fifty volunteers worked on 24 projects throughout the region. Participants came from Congregations Beth Emeth, Beth Abraham-Jacob, B’nai Sholom, Ohav Shalom and Temple Israel.

Rivi Spitzberg, Lana Estes and Gayle Katzman make fresh baked goods for the homeless at the City Mission.
