SARATOGA SPRINGS–The Tuesday, June 21, meeting of the Saratoga area Havurah Vatik will feature Naomi Tannen, founder of the Havurah Vatik program, presenting a talk at Shaare Tfille, 84 Weibel Ave., Saratoga Springs. She will discuss her personal journey into the realm of old age. “Reflections on Aging” will feature poetry, humor, and Jewish wisdom, with the goal of helping the group take pleasure in aging, as well as to offer strategies to cope with the challenges of later life, according to organizers. The program will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A buffet lunch follows the talk.
Tannen founded Havurah Vatik 12 years ago, following a 45-year career developing and directing programs for multi-stressed families and troubled youth.
