CLIFTON PARK –Clifton Park Chabad has announced a free “virtual” lecture, “Inside Israel’s Iron Dome— The Miracle of Israel’s High Tech,” will be held on Monday, July 5, at 7 p.m.

Rocket scientist Ari Sacher, who has worked in the design and development of missiles for over 20 years and is one of the developers of Israel’s Iron Dome, will discuss his experiences in the defense industry.

Sacher often speaks in Israel on science and its relationship to Torah. His shiur on the weekly Torah parshah is read in synagogues in five continents.

He made aliyah from the United States in 1982. He studied at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh, and then spent seven years in the Technion. He lives in Moreshet in the Western Galil along with his wife and eight children and ten grandchildren. He works in the Land and Naval Warfare Division at Rafael, where he is responsible for system development.
