ALBANY–Congregation Beth Emeth is planning several outdoor activities  through its brotherhood, sisterhood and The Renaissance Group (TRG).

The brotherhood is holding a walk at The Crossings on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. Walkers will meet at the cupola at 580 Albany Shaker Rd. in Loudonville and are asked to contact Mark Swyer at mdswyer@hotmail.com in advance.

The sisterhood is hosting a walk on the Bethlehem Rail Trail on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Rail Trail walkers will meet at the Kenwood Rail Trail parking lot near Grove Street in Delmar. Those planning to attend are asked to contact Jacki Stein at cbesisterevents@gmail.com.

All interested walkers are asked to remember to wear boots and a mask and to note that the walkers will practice social distancing on the walking trails.

The TRG will meet at the Pineridge Ski Area in Petersburg for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing along the Rensselaer Plateau from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7. A rain date is set for Sunday, Feb. 14. A cross-country ski pass is $18; $20 for ski rentals. A snowshoe pass is $10; $15 for rentals. Reservations,  required by Friday, Feb. 5, may be made with Joe Schwartz.
