ALBANY–Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany will feature two virtual Shabbat services this October. One will celebrate Simchat Torah on Friday, Oct. 9, and another on Friday, Oct. 23, will note the 30-year tenure of Steve Squires, maintenance supervisor.

The Simchat Torah Shabbat service, to celebrate the Torah will also welcome the temple’s youngest learners with a consecration ceremony is set for online between 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9. The virtual Shabbat service to celebrate Squires will be online from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.
