Beth Tephilah slates Inquisition-themed drama game for adults

Rebecca and David Freedman have been cast as parents in need of someone to rescue their daughter from the prisons of the Inquisition in the Beth Tephilah  adventure game set for Feb. 22.

TROY “Escape From The Inquisition,” an adventure game, is set for Saturday, Feb. 22, at Beth Tephilah Synagogue, 82 River St., Troy at 7:30 p.m. Adults in the community are welcome to attend.

Teams of five will work together, each with a special function, to help various Jews get out of Portugal at the time of the Inquisition.

“This game is not for the faint-hearted and the excitement will be very real,” according to Leible Morrison, president of Congregation Beth Tephilah.

Admission, for those over the age of 12, only, will be $5 and reservations may be obtained by calling 518-894-3490.
