The Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York (JFNENY) is co-hosting “Saving Lives: Suicide

Prevention Mental Health in the Jewish Community with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and Jewish Family Services (JFS) on Tuesday, March 9, at 7 p.m.

The program will feature AFSP’s Talk Saves Lives presentation, which includes information about suicide and mental health and research on prevention. Participants will learn common risk factors for suicide, how to identify the signs and how to prioritize mental health. A question and answer session will follow the program and members of JFNENY and JFS will be available to provide information on these topics as they relate to the Jewish community.
