Some partner agencies TOV seeks volunteers for  re Jewish Family Services, which needs individuals to  deliver kosher meals, shop for groceries and drive Jewish seniors to doctor’s appointments, banks, hair salons and  elsewhere and  the Shalom Food Pantry and Bethlehem Chabad.

One program TOV piloted last year was an effort entitled “The Traveling Heart Initiative.” This initiative ha TOV members personally checking in and connecting with community members. Traveling Heart Initiative, volunteers will make roughly 15 check-in calls to seniors who are living alone. These check-in calls will be done from the volunteer’s home and at their convenience.
