Local thespian group to present ‘The Goldman Project’ at Ohav in December

ALBANYThe Noodle Pudding Players will present the regional premier of “The Goldman Project” by Staci Swedeen at Ohav Shalom Synagogue, 113 New Krumkill Rd., Albany, from Dec. 12 to Dec. 23.

Directed by Michelle Sanders, the play relates the story of Naomi Goldman, who is recently widowed and living in an apartment in upper Manhattan, with her son, Tony, who has separated from his wife. It is 1994. Tony’s old college girlfriend, Aviva, contacts him with the ulterior motive of interviewing and videotaping his mother for a Holocaust memorial project.

Show dates are 12/12, 14, 19, 21 and 12/23 at 7 p.m. and on Sundays, 12/15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, adult; $12 senior/student and will be available at the door or can be purchased online at
