Rabbi Miriam Lichtenfeld

SCHENECTADY–Rabbi Miriam Lichtenfeld will present two free classes on the “Jewish Response to Climate Change” The lectures/discussions, open to the community, will be held on Tuesdays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the synagogue, 2117 Union St., Schenectady.

Questions to be considered: What is our responsibility as Jews to the environment? How does Judaism define our relationship with nature? Are monotheism’s ideals counter to the environmental ethic?
