Sch’dy JCC honors Sonia Rubenstein for community service; notes efforts of corporate partnership, and philanthropic leadership at gala

At this year’s fund-raising dinner held in the Balltown Road JCC Dec. 1, the Schenectady Jewish Community Center honored Sonia Rubinstein for community service. Ms. Rubinstein is at center with Sharon Cutler (in blue dress), last year’s winner, who presented the award. Ms. Cutler, wife of Rabbi Matt Cutler of Gates of Heaven, was chairwoman of the event. Mona Golub (not shown in picture), Price Chopper/Market 32’s vice president of public relations and consumer services, was master of ceremonies.
