The area’s three largest Conservative congregations have announced a joint Selichot program to be held both in person and live-streamed at the Agudat Achim Synagogue, 2117 Union St., Schenectady, on Saturday, Aug. 28, starting at 9:15 p.m. with a havdalah and study program.

Albany’s Temple Israel and Congregation Ohav Shalom with Congregation Agudat Achim will begin the actual Selichot service  (a penitential prayer service held  prior to Rosh Hashanah) at 10:30 p.m.
