The annual Shalom Festival will be held at Saratoga Chabad, 130 Circular St., Sunday, Aug. 22, from 5-7:30 p.m. Attendees can make crafts for Rosh Hashanah, buy Jewish foods and attend a magic show and listen to music.
Clarinetist Jonathan Greene and other musicians will entertain with other musicians from 5-6 p.m.. Based in Saratoga Springs, Greene is known for his ability to adapt to a wide variety of styles, from classical, to jazz, to world music, according to organizers.
From 6-7 Doug Eash will present a magic show. “Hello! My name is Doug Eash.” He reports that his interest in performing magic began when he was 12 years old. “ I continue to perform today to see the look of joy and wonder in the eyes of my audiences. I may not have known it back in 1972, but that is real reason I became a magician!”
Greene will resume playing music from 7-7:30p.m.
