ALBANY – Colonie Chabad will host “Yid Talks — Jewish ideas worth sharing!” on Monday, June 5, at 6 p.m. at the 284 Osborne Rd., Loudonville Chabad house. The free program will feature local community members discussing their various ideas. Individuals featured at the presentation will be:
Jesse A. Saperstein, author of two books Life With Asperger’s In 20 1/3 Chapters and Getting a Life with Asperger’s;
Daniel Vilk, of Ukrainian Jewish heritage, ADP manager;
Dr. Kathleen Ozsvath, chief of surgery at Samaritan Hospital;
Ivan Vamos, Holocaust Survivor and former deputy commissioner of NY State Parks;
and Anne Rappaport Berliner of NY Folklore.
Organizers have indicated that the talks are styled after Ted Talks, and the goal is to challenge, educate and inspire those attending.
