JWV Post 36 greets the public at Saratoga Racetrack’s opening day

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Jewish War Veterans (JWV) of Saratoga Post 36 staffed the community outreach booth on the opening day at Saratoga Race Course on July 13, 2023. JWV Life Member Ed Balaban, left, and Post Commander Dr. Sam Gottesman, right, had an opportunity to extend the Post’s outreach to the crowd that attended the first day of the 2023 track season. The New York Racing Association reported that the daily attendance for this opening day of the track season was 29,102. Post 36 regularly meets at Congregation Shaara Tfille in Saratoga Springs.
