Attendees at a previous NAJCF festival join together to sing  Psalm 150  with music by Louis Lewandowski.

 

The annual North American Jewish Choral Festival (NAJCF)  will be held this year from July 20-24 in Stamford, Conn.

“The Festival is for anyone who wants to celebrate the joy of Jewish music,” says Maestro Matthew Lazar, festival founder and director. “The participants include amateur singers, professionals, cantors, conductors, and lovers of Jewish music of all ages.”

Festival attendees will have an  opportunity to interact with, and learn from experts in Jewish choral music in what organizers promise will be a supportive setting.

Jewish musical activities will including daily community sings; workshops and seminars and evening concerts featuring guest choirs and performers.

The North American Jewish Choral Festival is a program of the Zamir Choral Foundation.
