The Capital District Jewish Holocaust Memorial (CDJHM) has been awarded $600,000 in federal funding to support its traveling memorial and accompanying educational program. According to organizers, the investment will allow the organization to accelerate the development of mobile exhibits and expand access to Holocaust education throughout New York State.

It is the goal of CDJHM to bring high-quality, thoughtfully designed programming directly to schools, museums, and community centersas it works to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust remain urgent, relevant, and accessible.

According to CDJHM the organization does not yet know the exact administrative process or timeline for the release of these funds, and it may be some time before they are received.
