ALBANY–Daughters of Sarah Community for seniors, an Albany senior living community, announces the appointment of Colleen Ashley Vincent as the new executive director of The Massry Residence, an assisted living facility, on its campus.

Her extensive experience, leadership skills, and passion for senior care make her a valuable addition to our team. Vincent earned a master’s degree in community health education with a gerontology certificate from Russell Sage College, Troy. Her educational background reflects her commitment to improving the health and well being of communities, according to administrators of the Daughters of Sarah Community.
Prior to joining Daughters of Sarah, she served as the executive director at Sarah Jane Sanford Home for Women in Amsterdam, N.Y. overseeing day-to-day operations, business planning, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with NYS DOH regulations. Her experience also includes serving as the COVID-19 coordinator for Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk CSD School Health Office.
Previously, she served for more than a decade as the executive director at The Eliot at Catskill Assisted Living Community in Catskill, where she directed the daily operations of a 98-bed facility, supervising 50 employees.
Her extensive work history includes positions such as admissions director, activity director, general manager, and case manager, showcasing her versatility in various aspects of senior living management. Vincent’s commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors is further reflected in her original role as a recreational therapy specialist at Daughters of Sarah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center according to administrators of Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors.
