A Mexican dreidel?
SCHENECTADY–The Schenectady Jewish Community Center (SJCC) annual family Chanukah celebration will feature a Mexican theme and be held at the Center, 2565 Balltown Rd. on Saturday, Dec 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Highlights of the program will include a pinata, activities for children and adults, glow sticks, dreidels, Mexican-style hot drinks, cookies. It will be held outside, weather permitting.
Those planning to attend are asked to bring an item of winter clothing to be donated as part of the organization’s JCares initiative.
