The Orthodox Union’s Teach N.Y.S.’s sixth annual Mission To Albany has been set for the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, 100 S Mall Arterial, Albany on Tuesday, March 14. It is a student-run advocacy day. Organizers expect 1,000 students, teachers and administrators from 88 Jewish nonpublic schools and yeshivas, as well as lay leaders and community members, will be in Albany to advocate for various fundings for nonpublic schools. According to organizers, students in nonpublic schools in N.Y. should not be left behind in the fight for a well-rounded and quality education for all students.
