HUDSON Congregation Anshe Emeth announces a “Tefillah Workshop: Jewish Prayer and Meditation,” a four-week online series led by Rabbi David Almog exploring Jewish prayer as a living spiritual practice. Designed to be open and welcoming to all levels of experience, the program, according to organizers, offers a holistic introduction to Jewish liturgy, meditation, and intention, blending historical context with practical tools for personal and communal prayer.

Through guided exploration of topics such as the origins and development of Jewish prayer, meditation in Judaism, mystical traditions, the structure of the Amidah, and the use of kavanah, According to the rabbi, Participants are expected to gain confidence in developing a personal practice so that they may engage more fully in communal services.
