Saratoga Jewish Community Arts and the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York continue to present, live on Zoom, Jewish stories from The Braid, a salon theater company.
The Braid’s professional actors will explore what it means to be Jewish today in three upcoming shows.
February will feature the Braid’s newest production, “Do the Right Thing.” Showings will be on Thursday, Feb. 12th at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, the 15th at 2 p.m.
According to SJCA organizers, the Braid’s actors of these sessions explore the Jewish tradition of questioning power and speaking up, especially when doing the right thing means standing alone.
To mitzvah or not to mitzvah, that is the question!
A world premiere “On Being Jewish Now” is planned for Thursday, April 16th at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m.
Saratoga Jewish Community Arts plans to take part in June with another world premiere, “L’Chaim, America!” June 4, at 7 p.m. and June 7, at 2 p.m.
