CLIFTON PARK– Clifton Park Chabad invites the community to join its Chanukah celebration on Thursday, Dec. 26. The festivities kick off with a Chanukah Car Parade, leaving from the New Town Center Park at 4:30 p.m. The parade will make its way to Clifton Common, where a “grand celebration” will take place.

At 5 p.m., the Menorah Lighting is scheduled.  It will be followed by a chocolate gelt drop, enabling participants to catch sweet treats from above. Following the festivities, attendees are invited to enjoy a dairy dinner, crafts, activities and music.

In addition to the Dec. 26 celebration, Chanukah events will also take place on Dec. 25 at 5 p.m. a kosher Chinese meal and movie on Dec. 30, a Chanukah concert for seniors at Colberg Village is slated for 3 p.m., a Halfmoon Town Hall Menorah Lighting is also set for Monday, Dec. 30, at  6 p.m. and a CTeen Snow tubing event will be featured on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 12 p.m.  at Willard Mt.
