As can be seen here (from a previous Beth El Latke Festival) a variety of latkes and trimmings will be showcased  at Temple Beth El, 3 Marion Ave., Glens Falls on Dec.8,

GLENS FALLS–Temple Beth El’s annual Latke Fest is slated for Sunday, Dec. 8,  from 2-4:30 p.m. Now in its 14th year, the program will include music, contests, and eating latkes. Cooks and eaters of all ages, faiths, and cooking abilities are welcome at the the synagogue, 3 Marion Ave., Glens Falls.

Teams from Glens Falls community organizations, businesses, and aspiring cooks of all ages, faiths, and cooking experiences will compete for the coveted title of “Golden Latke” and prizes and bragging rights for the year. Awards will also be given for the best condiment. Cooks are encouraged to get creative with their tasty toppings. Those interested in the Latke Fest competition are asked to contact organizers, [email protected] by Nov. 24.

In addition, the organizers seekvolunteers for the day of the event, along with sponsors at all levels, for monetary and in-kind donations.

Tickets are available at the door, and tables may be reserved by calling the Temple office, 518-792-4364.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids ages 5-11, and $200 for a reserved table (includes eight tickets plus goodies).

All proceeds support Temple Beth El and the Glens Falls Jewish community.
