In response to the recent surge in anti-Semitic incidents across the United States, including the recent  disturbing event in Boulder, Colo., Congregation Gates of Heaven (CGOH) will host a Community Solidarity Gathering on Tuesday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at  the temple, 852 Ashmore Ave., Schenectady.

This nonpartisan event is open to the public and will focus on addressing anti-Semitism

here at home. According to organizers, this will be a call for unity, understanding, and collective responsibility in confronting hatred.

“Anti-Semitism is a threat to the fabric of our entire society,” said Rabbi Matt Cutler,

spiritual leader of the congregation. “This gathering is a chance for people of all faiths and backgrounds to stand together, reject hate, and affirm the values of respect, dignity, and justice.”

The evening will include reflections from Rabbi Cutler, local clergy, and other community leaders.

All are welcome. Security will be present.
