Shabbos House, the Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center serving the University at Albany, will dedicate its sukkah deck in memory of Dr. Herman Prins Salomon, a former professor of languages at U. Albany, an author of works on Spanish-Portuguese Jewish history and a Sukkot enthusiast. The dedication ceremony will be Thursday, Oct. 13, 7:30 p.m. at the Shabbos House at 320 Fuller Rd., Albany. Adults of the community are welcome to attend.
Parking is available in the nearby U. Albany Dutch Gold lot, in the rows closest to Shabbos House.
