SCHENECTADY–Congregation Gates of Heaven plans an outdoor Shabbat experience, “Jammies and Jeans,” on Friday, July 5 at 5:45 p.m. at the temple, 852 Ashmore Ave., Schenectady. A story walk through the cherry trees and a traditional dairy Shabbat dinner featuring pizza, mac & cheese, mozzarella sticks, and ice cream will follow.
Organizers have encouraged everyone to come as they are—whether in cozy jammies or favorite pair of jeans.
