ALBANY–Colonie Chabad will host a program entitled, “Up, Up & Oy Vey!” which will examine mental health wellness using superheroes as inspiration in a lecture at the Colonie Town Library, at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6. Rabbi Simcha Weinstein will sign his book and discuss the topic. The program is open to the community.
Weinstein will review how superhero stories can help one build emotional strength, reframe mental health, and find resilience.
Weinstein founded The Jewish Autism Network, and hopes to become a member of the NYS Council On Developmental Disabilities.
Those planning to attend the free program are asked to make reservations at chaicentercolonie@gmail.com.
