SCHENECTADY– The Schenectady Jewish Community Center (SJCC) will host a comedy and magic and balloon show with Mr. Twisty on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Schenectady JCC’s Golub Auditorium, 2565 Balltown Rd.

Proceeds from this event will help fund the Schenectady JCC Camp Chaverim’s Mike Palahnuk Pavilion. The SJCC aims to raise funds to build a new pavilion near the Schenectady JCC playground in time for the summer of 2025. The late Palahnuk was the Center’s facilities director who died earlier this year.

Mr. Twisty’s Super Silly Magic Show is a stand-up comedy show for kids and family audiences. He fuses comedy and magic. For his Comedy Balloon show, Mr. Twisty rattles off a long list of balloon choices, while speaking fast like an auctioneer and twisting balloons together to create everything from whimsical animals to impressive hats and imaginative shapes.

According to organizers, Mr. Twisty’s show appeals to nursery school kids, adults, and everyone in between. He has performed over 5,000 shows in several countries.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 per person and $20 per family maximum.
