DANIEL MOSES

TROY–Congregation Berith Sholom of Troy, has announced that Daniel Noah Moses will be guest speaker on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the synagogue, 167 Third St. The program will feature a shortened Shabbat service, lecture, questions and answer period and a dessert oneg afterwards. The event is free and open to the public.

Moses’ talk is titled “Conflicting Narratives and Human Tragedy: What the Future Might Hold for Israelis and Palestinians.” Educator, peace builder, historian, writer, for close to 25 years, he lived in Jerusalem for 11 years and is a former lecturer on social studies at Harvard University and director of educator programs at Seeds of Peace. More recently he is the co-founder of The Fig Tree Alliance. He lives in Troy.
