SARATOGA SPRINGS–The Saratoga Jewish Cultural Festival has announced its 11th summer season. Offerings to the public are slated from June through August and include concerts, plays, lectures, films, discussions, and outdoor family events. 

“We are very excited to bring you a new season of our popular summer programming,” said Phyllis Wang, coordinator of SJCF. “For the first time since COVID, we are presenting many live programs and we continue some of our virtual or hybrid productions as our audiences over the past three years have spread far and wide and are no longer limited to local towns and communities.” 

The Festival begins June 11 with the Clifton Park Chabad’s Jewish Women’s Gala and concludes Aug. 22 with the Saratoga Chabad’s Klezmer and Kugel program.

“A Shayna Maidel” will be featured as a staged reading  at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 509 Broadway, Saratoga Springs on June 18 and a birthday barbecue on June 20 has been set for 5 p.m. at Saratoga Chabad, 130 Circular St., Saratoga Springs.

Other programs include: June 28, Sublet,” a film at Shaara Tfille Synagogue –7 p.m.; July 9, Songs from Our Hearts and Heritage at Beth Shalom Synagogue –4 p.m.; July 10, Speaker on the Holocaust at Saratoga Chabad – 6:30 p.m.; July 16, A Cantor’s Tale Virtual Film Discussion at Temple Sinai  – 7 p.m.; July 23, “The Chosen,” a staged reading at Shaara Tfille Synagogue, 3 p.m., 7 p.m.; July 30, Movie Night at Saratoga Chabad –7 p.m.; Aug. 3, “Marshall Virtual Film Discussion at Temple Sinai, 7 p.m.; Aug. 6, The Sassoons, Jewish Museum Virtual Tour sponsored by Shaara Tfille –7 p.m.; Aug. 9, 10th Annual Klezmer & Kosher Festival at Clifton Park Chabad,  –5 p.m.; Aug. 13, Shalom Festival at Saratoga Chabad – 3 p.m.; Aug. 14 –“Lansky” Virtual Film Discussion at Temple Sinai – 7 p.m.; and Aug. 22, Klezmer and Kugel at Saratoga Chabad – 5 p.m.
