Shalom Food Pantry, which regularly provides kosher food to over 200 households each month has added a kosher for Passover food distribution planned for Tuesday, March 28, from 2-5 p.m. This extra distribution, consisting of matzot, fish, chicken, fresh vegetables and other kosher for Pesach staples will be given to 175 families in need, according to organizers. The Shalom Food pantry is located at 393 Delaware Ave., Delmar.

“This year, more than ever, Shalom Food Pantry needs financial support and volunteer efforts to distribute this much needed food to Jewish families all throughout the greater Capital District, said Chanie Simon, food pantry program coordinator.
