ALBANY–Colonie Chabad will host its fourth year of YID Talks—Jewish ideas worth sharing— on Monday, June 17, at 6 p.m. Styled after TED Talks, five local community members will discuss their ideas and ponderings at the Chabad unit, 401 Loudon Rd., Loudonville. The free program is open to the community.

The talks are designed to educate, challenge and inspire, according to Rabbi Mordechai Rubin, co-director of Colonie Chabad. Presenters will include Phil Chandler, specialist on N.Y.S. fire and safety; Leslie Neustatdt, artist, author and poet; Ben Waldman, financial advisor; Rabbi Yossi Rubin of Clifton Park Chabad, guest scholar; and Dr. Peter Zaas, professor at Siena College, and its Kieval Institute for Jewish-Christian Studies.
