The Drama Mamas and the Shalom Food Pantry have announced the second annual All Women’s Musical Comedy: “Who Let the Jews Out?!?” The Drama Mamas Jewish Women’s Group will present the original musical (for women and girls only!) on Sunday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at the Albany Jewish Community Center, 340 Whitehall Rd., Albany.

“Who Let the Jews Out” is a comedic retelling of the exodus story written and directed by Elisheva Liberman of Albany. The show follows Moses and the Jewish people through slavery in Egypt to their escape across the Red Sea. The show stars, and was created by women from around the region seeking to express themselves and their creativity. Ferne L Dutkin is the producer for the Drama Mamas.

Advance tickets and sponsorship information may be obtained at: https://www.shalomfoodpantry.org/who-let-the-jews-out.html. All proceeds go to support the Shalom Food Pantry, which serves over 200 kosher meals to families every month.

The Shalom Food Pantry was launched in response to the lingering recession and increased need in the Jewish community in the wider Albany region. Its mission is to provide healthy food packages to individuals and families who are struggling financially, to help alleviate the costs of groceries.
