ALBANY – Colonie Chabad Jewish Center will host High Holiday services and a dinner outdoors (weather permitting). Services, the dinner and other holiday programs are free and open to all. The Center is at 284 Osborne Rd, Loudonville.
Rosh Hashanah services will start at 10:30 a.m. and be followed by a buffet kiddush. A shofar in the park and tashlich at the Crossings Park Pond are scheduled for Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. and a Rosh Hashanah community dinner is planned for Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
“No matter your level of observance or knowledge of Hebrew, you’ll feel right at home. With the High Holidays here, and as we usher in the new year, we personally want to wish a happy and sweet new year to you!” said Rabbi Mordechai and Chana Rubin, directors of Colonie Chabad.
