CATSKILL – Temple Israel of Catskill, 220 Spring St., Catskill has slated a plants-related fund-raiser on Sunday, May 7. A plant sale starts the day 8:30 a.m. to noon. The community is invited to attend.
Historian Steven Mann will discuss after a 12:30 luncheon about how the Hudson Valley was a home to over 400 greenhouses featuring violets between 1890 and 1920.
Admission will be $20 per person.
